We have been eating regularly at the Spaghetti House restaurants for 38 years.Firstly at their restaurant ( since closed ) behind Debenhams, but now mostly at Duke St.We have always had superb wine and food, and of course friendly service.Best value in London.

Lived less than 1/4 mile away and it was first adventure into Spahetti House. Staff was fast and cooperative. My husband said the veal was excellent. It was quiet upstairs and we need a neighbourhood place to go so we found it! YEAH!

We visited the St Martins Lane restaurant on Friday 5 March(my birthday) & enjoyed a supberb seafood risotto!The staff were very friendly & courteous. My only complaint is that you have stopped serving the oranges in caramel which I have enjoyed for many years, do you think you will bring them back one day plase? I have been a customer of yours for over 35 yrs & went to your 50th birthday celebrations at Sicillian Ave & I shall look forward to your 60TH Birthday celebration!

Had a lovely lunch. I had the tagliatelle with chicken - it tasted just great with the fresh mint. My partner had the meatballs and he almost licked his plate clean! The only slight downside was that he can't drink alcohol and there were no alcohol free lagers available. The alternatives are always quite sweet - eg coke and juices.
The service was good too - attentive but not intrusive. Would definitely come again and recommend it.

Yesterday evening, a friend and I again visited you at Bryanston St, a restaurant I have frequented for many years.
We are very pleased with your (faily) new menu from which we find it difficult to make a choice.
Last night as starter we both had minestrone which was even better than
usual.
After consderable deliberation, we then both had one of your new main dishes, i.e pot roasted chicken in garlic sauce
with saute potatoes which was as good as it sounded. We both decided to have that again on our next visit.
As usual the staff were excellent.

On Sunday 27th December my husband and I took our son and three grandchildren to lunch as a part of their Christmas treat. We all had an excellent meal with choices to suit all tastes but it was the waiter's joking with the children throughout our meal which made it a fun lunch for us all and an especially memorable one for the children.

We recently took the entire family to the Spaghetti House in Knightsbridge to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I visited on Novemember 7th., the occasion of my wife's birthday. An excellent lunch with quite the most delicious house wine I have ever tasted in an Italian restaurant - not the standard "thin" type fare. Lunch was quickly served and we had a divine sweet with a drenching of Amaretto, all very reasonably priced. I realised afterwards it had been 35 years, virtually to the day, since I had last dined in Sicilian Avenue. Will definitely return when next in London.

My husband and I visited the Knightsbridge Spaghetti House today. Although it was busy we were greeted with a smile and only had to wait a couple of minutes while a table was cleaned for us.
The food and drinks were served with a smile and the waiters were all most attentive.
Our spaghetti was served piping hot and was absolutely delicious.
We have nothing but praise for the chef and staff at this restaurant. We will be back!!!!
Incidentally, my husband was overcome with emotion when he saw the newspaper article of the Spaghetti house siege back in 1975, as he was a serving police officer at the scene at the time.

We must visit this restaurant once a week. It is our great standby. We have come to know the waiters so well especially Alfredo who is like a real friend. The quality of the food never changes - we have our favourites but don't get upset when there is a slight change in the menu and the particular dish is no longer there, as the staff do all they can to make it if they can. If not, we try something new and we can guarantee that too will become a favourite. Our family love the place and we get feedback from Alfredo sometimes saying our grandson had been in for dinner. We ALWAYS take friends who are staying with us to lunch or dinner there, and they say they are always recommending it to their family and friends and so it goes. I can honestly say that never once have we found anything to complain about - the staff so friendly, the food so good and the pasta superb. Long may it continue.

Have just paid a second visit to the same restaurant after a very pleasant first experience there 2 weeks ago. First visit was with 4 other family members and we were made to feel as if we had gone back to our Italian roots. The sea bass was excellent. The portion was enormous and the fish was beautifully tasty and moist, although it looked a little lonely on the plate without any garnish other than the artfully placed slices of lemon. We enjoyed our bottle of Soave. Service was good. We are rarely disappointed at Spaghetti House restaurants.

My husband and I have been regular patrons of both Cranbourn Street and Knightsbridge. We always receive a very warm welcome - the waiters have come to recognise us and they make us feel very important. We always go back to The Spaghetti House because of the excellent quality of food and one of the most important things as far as we are concerned the meals are served on warm plates. Sadly this is not always a practice in other restaurants. I cannot recommend your restaurants more highly and look forward to returning whenever we go to London, as we did today. The service at Duke Street remains very friendly and efficient
- sometimes too efficient. As a client of SH for many years I feel the
restaurant does not offer the value it used to. Prices are continually
rising and some items disappoint - particularly the chips and saute
potatoes. Extras are way overpriced - garlic bread, side salads etc.
No doubt I'll be back tomorrow!

Having visited this branch for the second time, I can recommend it.The food was excellent(try the sea bass), service good and the restaurant is very comfortable. had a lovely lunchtime meal with friends at Goodge street restauraut.I had always promised my daughter that I would take her to Rome and we could eat pasta for the whole holiday as her favourite food is Italian.In the meantime I will take her to the Spaghetti house as it's the next best thing..Thanks

On our last night in London my wife and I brought our 4 year old grandson Alex to the West End for one last look at the sights. We stumbled onto the St Martin's Lane location and all agreed that the menu looked good. Everything was excellent and Alex was treated like a royal. The entire staff stopped at our table to be certain that his dining experience was quite right. Thanks all and see you next visit. Ray

We booked the private room for an informal family dinner the night before my friend's wedding. JOSE and his staff were great and the food was delicious. Everyone had a great time, especially Thomas (who turned 11 that day). Thank you Spaghetti House.

My friend brought me & my boyfriend to the Haymarket location one late evening. Of all the food we had tasted in our week in London, the spaghetti house was by far the best meal we had. I will definitely go there again! Actually I think they had the best Italian I had tasted in a LONG time!...starting to get hungry just from thinking about it!

We visited the Knightsbridge restaurant last night (Saturday) and were immediately glad we had resevered a table (a necessity it would seem if you don't want to queue). The food was outstanding, the atmosphere perfect and the service exactly as it should be - fast, professional and discreet! A very enjoyable evening which we hope to repeat when we are next in London

I was first taken to Spaghetti House when I came up to London with a schoolfriend Xmas shopping about 25 years ago and her father met us after he finished work and took us to Sicilian Avenue. We felt so grown-up! Cathy moved to California to be an au pair and married an American and I didn't see her for years although we kept in touch. She came back this Christmas and I took her to the Spaghetti House . I've been a regular since moving to London 20 years ago but she hadn't been back. We loved it just as much - she eats out in the poshest LA restaurants and said that they didn't come close for authenticity and atmosphere. Many thanks for a delightful experience!

I first started coming to Spaghetti House in Scicilian Avenue, London way back in 1979/80 when my mother brought me there for a meal. She'd remembered the place from when she was working in London before she got married and moved to Canada.She'd been using it for about six years prior to that. So now apart from 10 years in Canada she's been using spaghetti House for about 40 years ans I;m pleased to say I'll be carrying on the tradition as a regular customer too..... I was recommended to the Spaghetti House in 1974 and it has been my favourite Restaurant ever since. I used to go for Family Anniversaries etc but over the years the family has reduced and now I go only about 3 times a year but the food is always great and the reception is always warm and friendly. I have been living in London for over 18 Years now and was introduced to Spaghetti House by my Partner about 12 years ago. It was the Sicilian Avenue Branch and I have been frequenting it ever since. It is my home away from home. Anita and Jean Paulo make it seem like they are personally inviting you in to their home. When I have Family and Friends come to visit I always take them there. Whenever my friends and I visit it takes a long time to get to the table because we chat to all the staff from Jean Paulo to all the kitchen staff(Chef Zlack) to Rossi Manuel Paolo and Francesca to being seated by the Beautiful Anita. It's not just the great food and excellent wine its being made to feel a part of the family.I reccomend it for a great fun experience and look forward to meeting you there. Everytime I come to your restaurant, I have the most beautiful glass of wine, called something like Salentino, it is red with figgy fruity flavours... Does anyone know the name and where I might be able to get it. Bought some in "Oddbins" called Salice Salentino but it didnt taste the same... if i cannot get it anywhere is there a chance I can purchase it in the restaurant?

My husband and I recently travelled to London. We found the Leceister Square restaurant by just walking around. During our Stay in London we visited the restaurant on a number of occasions. I am of Italian/Sicilian decent and the food there was just wonderful, just like homemade, perfect! Your restaurant and food is awesome, hospitality was great. I was introduced to the Spaghetti House in Goodge Street by my future wife in 1965, her parents had eaten at this restuarant since the 1950s when it was called the Bamboo. They were great friends of the manager senor Mannini. It remains one of our favorite restuarants.

An excellent Italian restaurant. The pasta was perfect (truly al dente) and puts to shame what gets served at higher prices elsewhere. The service was excellent with seemingly effortless ease. I just wanted to say that I love the food at the Spaghetti House. I am in the US Navy and I was stationed in London for two years. I went to the restaurant on Duke Street so much that the wonderful waitress Marlena knew what I wanted because I ordered the same thing everytime. This restaurant without a doubt is my favorite and I will go back to London one day just to eat there.

I have been going to your restaurants for over 30 years and they are always very reliable and offer great value food. I particularly enjoyed my last visit last Friday, 1 August 2003, where a friend and I enjoyed a long, substantial and superb lunch at the Bressenden Place branch in Victoria. I recently experienced my 25th meal at my 'favourite' Spaghetti House, namely #20 Sicilian Avenue. Paulo and staff are wonderful and always make me feel at home away from home. The food is always good and well prepared and presented. One on the highlights of my very frequent trips to Londons. Best on the menu? For my money - Fegato e Pancetta, garlic bread and a bottle of Corvo, a delightful Sicilian red. Hopefully,I'll be back soon.
